Leonard “Lemel” Becker, 102, beloved husband of the late Lillian; loving father of Gloria (Steven) Gutmann, Nadine (Keith) Papadas, Bonnie (Richard) Stern and Marc (the late Judy) Becker; cherished Zadie of Dana (Foster) Elliott, Mindy (Frank) Lamberti, Justin Stern and Samantha (Lee) Newmark; adored Super Zadie of Jordan, Ryan, Hailey, Aidan, Logan and Jude; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many. Chapel service Tuesday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Honor Flight Chicago

Dear Gloria, Nadine, Bonnie, and Marc,
I was just thinking about your wonderful father and was deeply saddened when I came across his obituary. I always loved talking with your father and he reminisced about how he, your mom, and my parents met and became friends. Mom and he reunited when they resided at Brookdale.. Mom and your dad would always talk and of course your dad gave mom a delicious baked good. My sincerest condolences are expressed to all.
